Today I'd like to share the story of a lovely couple I photographed during the apple blossom season at the Montreal Botanical Garden.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is hearing feedback from my clients after a session. This time, I was especially touched when Weile told me that his wife, Dasha, who had little experience being photographed and felt a bit nervous in front of the camera, no longer felt afraid of it after our session. Hearing those words meant a lot to me.
I would also like to thank them for such a wonderful day. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, soft spring light, and a relaxed atmosphere. There was laughter, playful moments, and genuine joy throughout the session.
What I love most in photography are authentic emotions, natural light, the delicate play of light and shadow, flowers in bloom, and real human connections. This session brought all of those elements together beautifully.

What makes their story even more special is that they are an international couple. Dasha is from Ukraine, Weile and is Chinese. To me, this reflects the beauty of Montreal and Canada — a place where people from different countries and cultures meet, build relationships, and create families together.
I think that's something truly beautiful.
